About the survey

Who ran this survey?

UX Content Collective, an education company for content designers and UX writers. We’ve trained content teams at companies including Google, Atlassian, and Slack, and we run the industry’s longest-running certification in UX writing. The survey was designed and analyzed by our team.

August 2026, via an online survey. We received 132 usable responses. 74% of respondents have six or more years in the field, and 49% are based in North America. Some questions were shown to subsets of respondents, so base sizes vary and are noted throughout the report.
