I want to help you do your life’s work. Is that UX writing? Let’s talk!
I’m currently a senior UX writer on Microsoft’s Ethics & Society team, working at the intersection of ethics and artificial intelligence. In collaboration with my amazing colleagues, I do content design and storytelling to help tech builders make products that optimize for human dignity and positive, sustainable futures. Before Microsoft, I spent three and a half years at Google, with a strong focus on accessibility. I also teach content strategy and UX at the University of Washington.
I took a winding path to UX, with previous jobs in book publishing, international development, and higher ed. So I understand some of the challenges–and benefits–of translating eclectic experiences into a new career path. I’m also an author: my novel, The Atlas of Forgotten Places, was published by St. Martin’s Press. I love helping other creatives find ways to cultivate personal projects while also building a great career.
As your coach, I can’t promise outcomes, but I can promise intent. I commit to:
- Listen to your hopes, your fears, and your questions
- Share relevant insights from my experience
- Co-create a realistic, actionable plan that puts you on track to meet your goals
