Midpoint & final project

I failed my Fundamentals midpoint project. Do I need to resubmit it?

You don’t need to resubmit the midpoint project. Just review the feedback and apply it to the final project.

I think my copy in the Fundamentals final project isn’t “correct.”

Don’t worry, there isn’t actually any “correct” copy.

Of course, we want to see you follow the guidelines we taught in the course. But when it comes to the actual words you use to convey meaning, we love seeing variety.

Remember, different words can describe the same interactions.

I think I’ve changed too much in the final project.

Feel free to change any and all copy, including the order in which it’s presented. You can also add additional text that’s not already in a text box or suggest small design changes, like new buttons or other components.

Do your best to keep the basic design intact as you aren’t redesigning the app. Your job is to help the designer make the experience better. Focus on editing the UI text so that instructions are clear and any potential questions are answered.

I heard we can get extra credit on the final project.

You can get extra credit on the final, but we prefer to keep the details a secret. 😉

What we can say is that you’ll have learned everything in the course that you need to earn the extra credit. Don’t worry, you have the skills, and we believe in you!

Hint: Be proactive.

Figma

I want to use comments in Figma to “talk” to the graders.

Feel free! Add comments to your Figma file in moderation so the instructor comments don’t get lost in the mix. That’s how we’ll communicate with you.

Still need some help? No problem, get in touch and we’ll give you a hand.
