Kim's experience

I help content designers and UX writers grow into strategic, confident, high-impact leaders. I’m a Principal Content Design Manager at a large software company and an experienced coach, supporting folks as they move beyond execution and into strategy, influence, and leadership.

I lead a team of 14 content designers, and I’ve built my career around elevating the value of content design across strategy, structure, and surface.

My expertise spans content design craft, systems thinking, terminology research, and Object-Oriented UX (OOUX), with a focus on creating clarity, delivering value, and designing experiences users understand, enjoy, and trust.

I typically work with mid-career to senior content designers and UX writers who are ready to strengthen their strategic mindset, sharpen their systems thinking, and step into senior or leadership roles.

Content designers often come to me feeling stuck at the execution level and leave with a clearer sense of their strategic value, stronger cross-functional influence, and the confidence to drive meaningful impact.

My coaching style is supportive, practical, and grounded in real-world experience.

I’m known for helping folks:

  • Create clarity in complex problem spaces
  • Strengthen product thinking, decision-making, and cross-functional influence
  • Build credibility through “show, don’t tell” collaboration
  • Develop strategic content design artifacts that clearly demonstrate impact
  • Build the confidence and clarity needed to grow into senior and leadership positions

I believe great content design delivers value to users, the business, and your career.

My goal is to help you turn that value into visible impact, stronger influence, and meaningful growth so that you can move forward with clarity and confidence.
